Oct. 19, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced it will showcase its solutions for 40G and 100G systems at SUPERCOMM 2009. Attendees will see how Altera's 40G and 100G solutions are driving the development of next-generation applications such as OTU-3, OTU-4, 40G and 100G Ethernet, Interlaken, mobile backhaul and Next-Generation PON (NGPON). Altera's 40G and 100G solutions include its 40-nm Stratix® IV FPGAs, featuring integrated transceivers operating up to 11.3 Gbps, intellectual property (IP), reference designs and development boards.

Altera will hold its demonstrations in a private meeting room at SUPERCOMM. Attendees interested in seeing live demonstrations and discussing their application needs with Altera representatives should email Altera at supercomm-info@altera.com to reserve a time.

Altera's 40G and 100G solution demonstrations at SUPERCOMM include:

  • 40G packet-processing reference design
  • 10 x 10G Ethernet to 100G Interlaken bridge
  • 40G OTU with EFEC
  • 100G Ethernet and 100G OTN4
  • Mobile backhaul with synchronous Ethernet
  • IP-DSLAM with VDSL bonding
