AMR will go UP

American has been proactive in anticipating changes in demand for airline travel and rising oil prices by reducing the size of its fleet, cutting routes, and charging fees for checking baggage. Fears of customer revolt from the new fees are largely irrelevant as most other major carries now charge the same fees. AMR CORP stock has risen rapidly in response to falling oil prices, and congress' plan to limit oil speculation. You can expect a moderate increase to continue, but you should have bought this guy last week when it was selling at bargain basement prices (~$4.00).
