Just to recall the old days, yes it was fun to read all the bickering and fighting amongst everyone, and it was the message board part that made the BBC along with King Mahdi, so at least maybe, just maybe we can get enough to return to the chat part, I wil state I agree with the current picks on the BBC as the market is in a world of hurt and this is just the start of tough times ahead for everyone, I can see the dow hitting 5,000 before this is over, and depending on how our Gov't fares in the next few months it could go lower, I will also agree with the current trend in oil as it could go much lower than the present price, 50 is not unrealistic, anything with a high p/e is vunerable more so than most, at the same time stocks are cheap and anyone willing to take a risk and hold out will be rewarded very well, may take a couple of years but the payback is still better than the CD rate,  I ask for other comments on the subject from the crowd,

I agree with you Michael, lets get these boards hopping again.

actually I think oil starting to go back up a bit and level out around 60-70 a barrel.

and on the market, I think after Obama is elected next week the market will be up and down but will gradually start getting better.....I personally am going to start putting all the real money i can find into the market into good companies and maybe in a few years I can buy a few hot hookers.

lol wait.. did u just say think the dow is going to 5000?? i really hope your joking.. your saying that the economy/earnings/companies are going to be 60% worse off then they were a year ago?

pass that stuff this way.. whatever it is your on..

as for oil.. i feel the stability of oil is around 75..

Yo Diggity, Good to see you.

No way dude. Resetting the portfolio is for wimps who can't play by the rules. This site is supposed to be close as possible to real life trading. If I lose 700k in real life, Etrade isn't going to give me the money back and say "Try again".

This community can still be vibrant again with just a small portfolio...lol "Money can't buy you happiness"....lol
