SCI: Bullish Bargain

This is going to be a good year for SCI. Ten years ago this stock was over $40.00 a share. SCI went into an acquisition phase and bought up a lot of cemeteries for a lot more than they worth and many of them were not profitable to begin with. They have managed to slim down and their stock has been climbing pretty steadily for the last five years. Their biggest appreciation has been the last year or so and they are anticipating about thirteen percent of their business to be effected by a slow economy this year. With an aging baby boomer population the other 87% of their at-need sales to increase in volume. SCI and Dignity Memorials is a company that you can buy and hold for the long haul. At the current price $10.42 it's a steal.
