Hi, you all. I decided to use the nuclear option to clear out our portfolio for the new year and new President. Also, I think it would be best to place "stop loss" orders on our stocks for safety. Now we will see if Obama and Democratic Party investment choices can make it under an Obama/Democratic Administration.
Bush will be gone. It sort of reminds me of the song from "The Wizard of Oz"--you know, "Ding-Dong, the Witch is dead,..."
Hi. I went ahead and fully invested the portfolio in basic materials, infrastructure (for all the public works projects Obama will start) and Gold, just because I worry about the value of the dollar after printing all that money to complete these projects. I also will place limit orders on all to prevent further major losses.
I am stepping down today for a breather/vacation from the Admin. duties of this group for a week. I participate in 10 groups, am the Admin. in 4, plus my personal portfolio and I have been worn out with the events of the last three months. Please give your suggestions to jranft and help him be a good Admin. for this group. Thank you.
