I had to drop wind and solar from the portfolio because yesterday several brokerages came out questioning the valuations given to the solar stocks. As to the wind stocks, well every thing is dropping like a rock and I am trying to preserve capital at this junction. I need ideas, guys and gals and some discussion--let's talk.
Sorry, indexes are not cutting it. They drop like rocks. I was away today helping a friend buy a truck because he totaled his in a wreck so I could not do what I wanted to do. You will see more of that later.
I agree with your latest gambit. I still think we should hold on to FSLR though, if we have any, or buy some now, if we don't.
Well, OK, but it FSLR is a highly volatile stock that uses a rare mineral in its process. It has been estimated that so far it has used up 4% of all the known supply on Earth of this rare mineral, which means that unless it somehow finds more of this mineral or modifies its process for thin film solar sheets, then its shelf life as a company is very limited. How many shares do you recommend buying?
