From the goofy side of the Republican Party comes word from the grand master himself, Rush "Call me the Master Dittohead" Limbaugh about the Obama Recession/Depression. Apparently, Rush seems to think that even though President-elect Obama has not taken the oath of office yet he is responsible for these "terrible, terrible economic times" we are having. Some economists are now suggesting the recession started in October, 2008 which would mean that Obama somehow had such an effect on the market, banks, and Wall St. in general that commerce stopped dead in its tracks and never mind about the mindless deregulation, sleezy wheeling and dealing, and living high on the nation's credit card that the Republican Party did for the last eight years. True, not all of this can be laid at the doorsteps of those who had the R after their name and walked in lock-step with one of the most unpopular Presidents in our nation's history. Some of that blame can be spread around and surely some falls on those with the D after their name--generally for being spineless in the face of a tyrant and his administration. Where are the statesmen of yesteryear? Apparently gone, I fear. Will someone please explain the "cause and effect rule" to Master Dittohead? O, Yes, I forgot, in his bizarro world scientific principles do not apply. Well then, tell him that God says that eventually Good prevails over Evil. What do you think?
