CALM will go DOWN
$30.30 on 7/13/08
$35.50 (11.22% from time of market call)
Recent floods in the mid west, tornadoes, etc. are ruining corn crops. We already have problems with the large demand on corn for energy, now we will have problems with corn from lower supplies. This is going to raise the price for corn feed which will raise the price for chickens and chicken products.
CAL-MAINE, an egg company, is going to get hit hard as soon as Wallstreet gets ahold of it. I see this going down at least 5% following the downturn of chicken companies such as Sanderson Farms.
