I'm watching BUD and TAP right now. BUD looks like it's going to continue falling, and TAP looks pretty expensive right now to yield big returns. My question is, what would be a good price to buy BUD, or do you think it's going to make a swift recovery, and what are some other good beer stocks to buy into, on the cheaper end of the spectrum.</div> Group Discussion groupDiscussion-4042 Mon, 28 Sep 2009 05:38:05 EDT UpDown Group Discussion Please Help, just a new guy here..... http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/paolo0911>paolo0911</a></div><div>How could I look for peny stock companies?</div> Group Discussion groupDiscussion-4023 Sun, 16 Aug 2009 22:33:52 EDT UpDown Group Discussion Why S&P 500 is Running into Headwinds http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/shsiong>shsiong</a></div><div>I believe the recent consolidation of S&P 500 is due to the index hitting resistance at 1014 from Fibonacci 38% retracement level. You have the right idea. Buy low sell high, but to keep it simple, take some advice from the master's like Warren Buffet who says don't buy anything you wouldn't buy in real life or don't know anything about. Stick with the names you know like Wal-mart or McDonalds. If everyone is selling and you still like the business, consider a bargain sale and start buying a little at a time and add to your position on pull backs, getting paid dividends to wait. When everyone is buying and driving up the price higher than ever before in a very short time... SELL before all the buyers are gone. It gets more complex, but in the word's of Donald Trump, "Never give up."</div> Group Discussion Wed, 15 Jul 2009 19:39:09 EDT UpDown Group Discussion Reply Add http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/magicdevon>magicdevon</a></div><div>We should add Regal Entertainment company (RGC) to our portfolio</div> Group Discussion groupDiscussion-3995 Sat, 27 Jun 2009 17:42:44 EDT UpDown Group Discussion RE: Newbie here! http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/magicdevon>magicdevon</a></div><div>Buy things that make money like entertainment, webs ect.Do research.See how the stocks been doing in the past 3 months or so.THINK</div> Group Discussion Sat, 27 Jun 2009 17:39:20 EDT UpDown Group Discussion Reply Nice http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/magicdevon>magicdevon</a></div><div>Hello, Im new to this group and i'd like to say T.E.A.M TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE would be a good moto. A quick way to understand the world of business & finance is watching financial channels like CNBC; although I prefer Bloomberg because it shows you performance of the global market while you need CNBC world to have a clue. Read newspapers like the wall street journal & barron. You can also read magazines to get a peek of the week or month ahead or review like Forbes, Havard business review, & etc.. Then we have books on investing, management & etc.. Hey there's also the internet which can provide more info than mere tv or book. I hope that can help and good luck on your financial journey. </div> Group Discussion Sat, 13 Jun 2009 22:48:35 EDT UpDown Group Discussion Reply New kid on the block http://www.updown.com/Goldroom-Investment-Club/group-discussions/1299 <div>By <a href=http://www.updown.com/member/Innova>Innova</a></div><div>Hello fellow members! I'm am also new here! I joined the site Sunday, joined Going Global Monday, & your group yesterday. I want to practice & learn as much as possible so eventually I can invest RT through technical methods, basic materials, & etc.. Although I am only HS junior I already planned to double major in international business (focus on Japan) & finance or math when I get to college. I also want to own my own business venture and have a exciting goal of reaching $1 m before 30! I hope to learn from your experiences & eventually become great friends. </div> Group Discussion groupDiscussion-3969 Wed, 27 May 2009 18:30:47 EDT UpDown Group Discussion
