Shares of the Coca Cola Company (KO) hit a new 52 week high Tuesday, of 54 dollars and 65 cents per share. That's a 46% rise off of the 52 week low touched in March. Today Coca Cola announced a multi-year strategic sponsorship and marketing alliance with Live Nation (LYV), making Coca-Cola the offical soft drink of Live Nation. Last week Coca Cola became the first company in the beverage industry to make an international commitment to include calorie information per serving on the front of nearly all product packages. The move is intended to increase consumers awareness about the calorie content of its beverages. Coca Cola releases its third quarter results on October 20th. In Tuesday afternoon trading, shares of the Coca Cola Company were changing hands at 54.45 per share, up about 1.2 percent on the day. Also reaching a new 52 week high today is Wyeth (WYE), at just under the 49 dollars per share mark. The stock has made a fairly steady climb off of its 52 week low of just over 28 dollars in October of last year, gaining about 75% over the 52 week period.
