A friend which was an account in Marketocracy that started with me in the year 2006 made an experiment. We had our portfolios with stock that was severely battered in the sort of Bear Market of 2007 he went from 40% annualized rate of return and during that time he went to negative annualized rate of return. He did the experiment to see what would happen if anyone does not strategize or take care of their stock you can loose all your money, he then proceeded to leave them unattended after that and he recovered with only one day when a company in April jumped in price. It was very strange to me and even funny to see his graph plummet and then skyrocketing again!! With this I confirmed that whenever one analyzes a company and really makes a decision to buy stock of that company because of your analysis told you that it is a good company chances are that the company will do good. The other thing that it confirmed is that we need to strategize in all kinds of markets in order to maximize the gains.

I agree with you, energy stocks right now are extremely volatile and it really takes a lot of investigation to actually make a good decision for the energy stocks, I suggest we need to wait for things
