, Oct. 23, 2009 (Resource News International) -- The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)closed
lower on Friday, as investors worry the economic recovery may be
short lived, according to market watchers.
The TSX composite index decreased by 151.24 points or 1.31%
to close at 11,382.13 on Friday. Trading volume totaled 491.5
million shares, down from 560.7 million on Thursday. Declines
beat advances 911 to 635.
All of the TSX's ten sectoral indexes ended lower on Friday.
