, Oct. 28, 2009 (Resource News International) -- The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)closed
lower on Wednesday, as disappointing economic data has investors
concerned, said market watchers.
The TSX composite index decreased by 248.21 points or 2.25%
to close at 10,805.33 on Wednesday. Trading volume totaled 580.8
million shares, up from 490.9 million on Tuesday. Declines beat
advances 1,210 to 398.
All of the TSX's ten sectoral indexes ended lower on
Wednesday with the materials group down by 4.23%.
