Why don't you let the user edit or delete Stock Analysis Posts they have made. I made a post that I later realized had some spelling errors. I fixed the errors and resubmitted it but when I went back to delete the original I couldn't edit or delete it.
Can you make a feature so we can edit or delete Stock Analysis Posts we have made?
There's something different about the awards breakdown DIV on the 2009 annual contest. [(http://www.updown.com/$5,000-Official-UpDown-2009-Performance-Contest/contest/2002) (http://www.updown.com/$5,000-Official-UpDown-2009-Performance-Contest/contest/2002)]
* 201 - 5,000 place winners: $0.50 * 1,001 - 5,000 place winners: $0.10
Notice the double hit on "5,000 place winners" and compare this with the similar DIV for the February 2009 contest [(http://www.updown.com/February-2009-$3,000-Monthly-Performance-Contest/contest/2114). (http://www.updown.com/February-2009-$3,000-Monthly-Performance-Contest/contest/2114). ]
* 101 - 1,000 place winners: $0.50 * 1,001 - 5,000 place winners: $0.10
Is it me or does Up/Down seem to be experiencing a meltdown? Trades pending issues, slow trades, ads having to load every time, members comments disappearing, Watchlist without percentage gained/loss since addition and now no Watchlist at all. Also, I am getting a slow delivery message on messages sent to Up/Down through the Contact Us portal. They have been delayed for over two days now. What the heck is going on?
I actually think this is fine, it fixes my complaint about sitting around with -$200,000 buying power unable to trade without losing leverage. Just a few issues:
1) Please make the $25,000 cap 2.5%, or 1%, or whatever you think it should really be on a percentage basis. There is no reason to use absolute numbers with such variance in portfolio value.
2) It would be nice to be able to designate a least-favored-position to liquidate in case of a margin call, instead of having to tinker with my portfolio every time there's a 5% rise in a stock I'm shorting.
3) I'm not looking forward to getting an email every time OSTK goes up a few pennies. I should be able to either set 2) or toggle an email option and not get these.
Clicking on transaction history for a group takes you to your personal transaction history rather than the group's.
Can't edit profile, the page loads but there's no way to save changes.
Just FYI, I'm sure there are other things too since you changed a bunch of stuff to make room for Ads, Abandon your original business plan?
