In the global economy companies such as Visa and Mastercard are both excellent buys. Their cards are a driving force in global economic growth. Visa is a service provider. In a strong economy Visa's service is used to purchase goods that people otherwise cannot afford. In a weak economy Visa is used to maintain the standard of living people were used to in the previous strong economy. Visa is a strong buy for any portfolio.
