My investment style takes an ecological view of investing. I view the markets as an ecosystem, with many players competing for scarce returns, using multiple strategies, some of which work, and some of which don't. This method attempts to adapt to the fickle tastes of investors, selling the market what it unduly loves, and buying what it unduly hates. My second style is to view the market from the middle outward. Industry factors are under analyzed; often companies within an industry are overanalyzed relative to each other. Industry factors deliver over half of the returns of an individual stock, so being in the right industries is crucial. My third style for investing is to turn over quick trades through out the day. Over the past month I did this in the financial sector. This strategy help me produce very high returns by shorting and buying.

These three styles help me adapt to the volatility seen over the past year. My account it currently made up of (3/4) quick/short term day trades and (1/4) cash and long term stocks-ETEs.
