Timely help

Honda lined off it's first Civic in it's new Indiana plant today. Indiana is already set up well for auto suppliers with Toyota and Subaru doing most of the lead work over the years so it is safe to say that both US plants assembling the Civic should operate pretty soundly and maintain their relatively low manufacturing costs. At the same time the scheduled 2009 minor model change for the Civic will be a good way to refresh the car and attract buyers.
