Leaked photos and subtle hints from Apple suggest a new notebook will be released next week at a price under $1000.

American Airlines launched airborne Internet access today for some of its longer non-stop flights. At $12.95 per flight, AMR cut competitors' previous rates in half. While I don't expect a big jump, I am shooting for a few percentage points before the end of the week.

DCM developed the wallet phone using Sony's FeliCa technology to allow customers to wave their phones at convenience stores, vending machines, etc. to pay for goods. Now Japanese carriers are looking to take their wares abroad, hoping to expand their success. I'll be keeping this one in my watch list for a few days to see what happens.

Today, AMD release the Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card, which is currently the fastest card on the market. While the price for the card is relatively high (about $500), the hoards of anxious hardcore gamers should drive the price of this stock up pretty quickly.
